Mark D. Lee, MBA

Mark D. Lee has a passion for helping business owners succeed. He provides a full range of consulting and financial services to his clients, with an emphasis on operational strategies that maximize profits and cash flow, while minimizing taxes. He has extensive experience in business planning, evaluation of business systems and general management services. His experience includes a broad range of industries emphasizing manufacturers, high technology, restaurants, real estate, consulting, and automobile dealerships.

After starting his career working in public accounting for a few years, Mark went to work for a Fortune 100 high technology company. While with this company, he held senior management roles in taxation, accounting operations and financial business management, and he ran a service business. Mark is not just an advisor to businesses; he actually has hands-on experience running and growing businesses like yours.

Mark grew up in Cranston, Rhode Island. He graduated summa cum laude from Bryant College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He also earned a Master of Science in Taxation degree from Bentley College and a Master of Business Administration degree with Honors from Boston University. This MBA degree was earned through the Boston University Executive MBA program.

Karen A. Benz, M.S.
Certified Professional Behavioral Analyst

Karen's focus is on business consulting, strategy and leadership development with an emphasis on improving individual and organizational performance. She has owned a consulting practice since 1996 working with clients in many industries including manufacturing, finance, hospitality, health care, and non-profits. Her varied business career includes working in a large nonprofit medical facility as the Chief Operating Officer where she was responsible for the day-to-day operations and a staff of over 100. Her responsibilities included human resources, business operations, marketing and public relations, project management, facility planning and construction management, and community relations.

Karen is a graduate of Bryant College with a B.S. in Business Administration, as well as Salve Regina University with an M.S. in Management where she was a member of the Sigma Beta Delta Business Honor Society. In 2007, she completed a Mastermind Management Consulting Program held in Dublin, Ireland. As a follow-up to this program, she was certified in the Rubicon Leadership Training Program in Scottsdale, Arizona in 2009. Additionally, she graduated from Corporate Coach University (Executive Coaching Program) and has certifications in DISC, PIAV, Trimetrix, and DNA – behavioral assessments from Target Training International.

Karen has a strong background in teaching and training. She has taught a variety of business courses at Providence College, the University of Rhode Island, and the Community College of Rhode Island.
